The Jemez Mountains are a major mountain range in North Central New Mexico in the United States. The range contains several important travel destinations such as Los Alamos, Bandelier National Monument, and part of Santa Fe National Forest.

Los Alamos History Museum

The Los Alamos History Museum is housed in three buildings: the historic Guest Cottage, located next to Fuller Lodge, of Los Alamos Ranch School, which was General Leslie Groves's favorite place to stay during the Manhattan Project; the Bethe House a short distance away, where Hans Bethe lived for a brief time after the end of World War II; and the Oppenheimer House, where J. Los Alamos History Museum is situated 2 miles east of Perimeter Tank.

Mesa Public Library is the Los Alamos branch of the Los Alamos County Library System in New Mexico, United States. The library collection has more than 160,000 items which include books, CDs, DVDs, original paintings, and material in several foreign languages. Mesa Public Library is situated 2 miles east of Perimeter Tank.

Los Alamos is a small town in northern New Mexico, about an hour northwest of Santa Fe. Its claim to fame is the Los Alamos National Laboratory, where Oppenheimer and other physicists created the world's first atomic bomb during World War II, concluding the Golden Age of Modern Physics and heralding the Atomic Age.
