Pena Castle

The Pena Palace is a Romanticist palace in São Pedro de Penaferrim, in the municipality of Sintra, on the Portuguese Riviera. The castle stands on the top of a hill in the Sintra Mountains above the town of Sintra, and on a clear day it can be easily seen from Lisbon and much of its metropolitan area. Pena Castle is situated 1¼ km southwest of Jardim da Vigia.

Sintra Station is a railway station in the town Sintra and the terminus of the Sintra Line from Rossio, one of the main stations in Lisbon. It is managed by Infraestruturas de Portugal. Sintra railway station is situated 650 metres northwest of Jardim da Vigia.
