Niquinohomo is a municipality in the Masaya department of Nicaragua. It is home to the oldest extant church in Nicaragua; Church of Saint Ann. The city's patron saint, as well as the birthplace of Augusto César Sandino, after whom the Sandinista movement was named. Niquinohomo is situated 4½ km north of Sócrates Sandino.

Diriomo is a town and a municipality in the Granada department of Nicaragua. Diriomo is located on a plateau near the Mombacho Volcano, between Masatepe and Granada, 48 kilometers from the capital, Managua.The population of Diriomo Municipality is approximately 34,000. Diriomo is situated 5 km east of Sócrates Sandino.
