The park is home of a number of attractions such as, the Hokkaidō Shrine, the Maruyama Zoo, the Maruyama Baseball Stadium and the Maruyama Athletics Stadium. Maruyama Park is situated 360 metres south of Hokkaido Jingu Shrine.

Sapporo Maruyama Baseball Stadium, is a baseball stadium in Sapporo, Hokkaidō, Japan. The stadium holds 25,000 people, was built in 1934 and is currently used for high-school and amateur baseball games. Maruyama Baseball Stadium is situated 370 metres southwest of Hokkaido Jingu Shrine.
