Ruiz Pineda is a Caracas Metro station on Line 2. It was opened on October 4th 1987 as part of the inaugural section of Line 2 from La Paz to Las Adjuntas and Zoológico, on the branch leading to Las Adjuntas. The station is between Mamera and Las Adjuntas. Ruiz Pineda station is situated 370 metres west of Parque Bloq 9.

Caricuao is a Caracas Metro station on Line 2. It was opened on 4 October 1987 as part of the inaugural section of Line 2 from La Paz to Las Adjuntas and Zoológico, on the branch leading to Zoológico. Caricuao station is situated 1½ km east of Parque Bloq 9.

Parque Zoológico Caricuao is a zoo in Caracas, Venezuela in the Parish of Caricuao located in the southwest region of the city. The park was created by Decree No. 1682, dated March 7, 1974, but only open to the public from July 31, 1977. Caricuao Zoo is situated 3 km east of Parque Bloq 9.
