Eugen-Keidel Tower is a 31-metre-high observation tower location on the Schauinsland mountain near Freiburg, Germany. It was built in 1981. The Eugen-Keidel Tower has an extraordinary design with a triangular cross section. Eugen-Keidel Tower is situated 1½ km southwest of St. Barbara.
Schauinsland Pit

The Schauinsland Pit was a silver and lead mine east of Freiburg im Breisgau. From the 19th century zinc was also mined. The mine operated from the 13th century until 1954. Since 1997 Schauinsland Pit has been a show mine. Schauinsland Pit is situated 1½ km southwest of St. Barbara.
