The Band Box Diner is the oldest operating diner in the Elliot Park neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The restaurant, located at 729 South 10th Street, is modeled on the White Castle chain, but is entirely locally built.

Humphrey Metrodome, the stadium opened in 2016 and is the home venue of the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League. U.S. Bank Stadium is situated 2,300 feet northeast of Centennial Hall.

The Minneapolis Armory is a historic event center and former National Guard armory located in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. Built by the Public Works Administration in 1936, the building was occupied by several Army and Naval Militia units of the Minnesota National Guard from its opening until 1985. Minneapolis Armory is situated 2,200 feet north of Centennial Hall.
