Yankee Stadium is a baseball stadium located in the Bronx, New York City. It is the home field of Major League Baseball’s New York Yankees. The stadium opened in April 2009, replacing the original Yankee Stadium that operated from 1923 to 2008; it is situated in the Concourse neighborhood of the Bronx on the 24-acre former site of Macombs Dam Park, one block north of the original stadium's site. Yankee Stadium is situated 1¼ miles west of Morris Educational Campus.
