The Cairo Tower is a free-standing concrete tower in Cairo, Egypt. At 187 m, it was the tallest structure in Egypt for 37 years until 1998, when it was surpassed by the Suez Canal overhead powerline crossing.

Dokki is one of nine districts that make up Giza, Egypt. Dokki is situated on the western bank of the Nile, directly across from Downtown Cairo. It is a major residential and commercial district with major roads connecting the two parts of Greater Cairo.
