The Hong Kong Heritage Museum is a public museum of history, art and culture in Sha Tin, Hong Kong, located beside the Shing Mun River. The museum opened on 16 December 2000 and is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Government. Hong Kong Heritage Museum is situated 640 metres west of Ming Yiu Lau.

Lek Yuen Bridge is a pedestrian footbridge in Sha Tin New Town, New Territories, Hong Kong, across the Shing Mun River. The uncovered concrete footbridge was built in 1988. It is about 160 m in length with a structural area of about 1,000 m2. Lek Yuen Bridge is situated 220 metres north of Ming Yiu Lau.

Sha Tin Park, formerly known as Sha Tin Central Park, is a park at 2 Yuen Wo Road, Sha Tin, Hong Kong. It is situated along the Shing Mun River in the new town of Sha Tin, next to the New Town Plaza, Sha Tin Town Hall, and Sha Tin Public Library. Sha Tin Park is situated 350 metres northwest of Ming Yiu Lau.
