Remains of Desiatynna Church
The Church of the Tithes or Church of the Dormition of the Virgin was the first stone church in Kyiv. Originally it was built by the order of Grand Prince Vladimir the Great between 989 and 996 by Byzantine and local workers at the site of death of martyrs Theodor the Varangian and his son Johann.Photo: Wikimedia, Public domain.

St Andrew's Church is a historic Orthodox church in Kyiv, Ukraine. It was built between 1747 and 1754 to a design by the Italian architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli. Saint Andrew’s Church is situated 130 metres north of Remains of Desiatynna Church.
