Karori Cemetery, located in the Wellington suburb of Karori, is the second-largest cemetery in New Zealand. It opened in 1891 to replace Bolton Street Cemetery, and reached capacity and was closed to most burials in the 1960s when Mākara Cemetery opened. Karori Cemetery is situated 440 metres northwest of Ian Galloway Park.
