Gotha Observatory was a German astronomical observatory located on Seeberg hill near Gotha, Thuringia, Germany. Initially the observatory was dedicated to astrometry, geodetic and meteorological observation and tracking the time. Gotha Observatory is situated 500 metres west of Waldblick.
