Carbondale Station is an Amtrak intercity train station in Carbondale, Illinois, United States. The southern terminus of Amtrak's Illini and Saluki routes, it is also served by the City of New Orleans. Carbondale station is situated 2,200 feet northwest of Rainbow’s End.

Davies Gym is the home of the Southern Illinois Salukis women's volleyball team and former home of all indoor sports at SIU. Upon completion of the SIU Arena in 1964, men's programs moved to the new facility. Davies Gym is situated 2,000 feet southwest of Rainbow’s End.
