Bothwell is an unincorporated community in Ontario, Canada. It is recognized as a designated place by Statistics Canada. Formerly an independent municipality within Kent County, the Town of Bothwell as well as the surrounding Zone Township were controversially amalgamated into Chatham-Kent in 1998 Bothwell was part of the geographic township of Zone before incorporation in the 19th century. Bothwell is situated 9 km northeast of Briarwood Estates.
