Nago Castlie Site

Nago Castle is a Ryukyuan gusuku in Nago, Okinawa. It was built in the 14th century and served as the home of the Aji of Nago Magiri. In 1416, the army of Chūzan, led by Shō Hashi, attacked and captured the castle during the invasion of Hokuzan. Nago Castlie Site is situated 470 metres northwest of Ganju Hiroba.

Nago Museum opened in 1984 in Nago, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. The collection covers natural as well as cultural history and includes the shell of a giant clam which weighs over two hundred kilograms. Nago Museum is situated 1½ km northwest of Ganju Hiroba.
