Olympiastadion is a stadium located in Munich, Germany. Situated at the heart of the Olympiapark München in northern Munich, the stadium was built as the main venue for the 1972 Summer Olympics. Olympiastadion is situated 300 metres west of Theatron Olympiapark.

The Olympic Tower in the Olympic Park, Munich has an overall height of 291 m and a weight of 52,500 tons. At a height of 190 m there is an observation platform as well as an exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Tower. Olympia Tower is situated 280 metres northeast of Theatron Olympiapark.

The Olympic Village was constructed for the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Germany and was used to house the athletes during the games. The Munich massacre took place in one of its apartment blocks, Connollystraße 31; the street was named for an Irish-American participant in the 1896 Olympics.
