Hrazdan is a railway stop, which is situated 800 metres southeast of Kotayk Marzpetaran.

Makravank is an Armenian church-complex located in the Makravan district of Hrazdan, the capital of Kotayk Province, Armenia. The monastic complex includes a half-ruined 11th-century chapel. Makravank Monastery is situated 1¼ km west of Kotayk Marzpetaran.

Sevan–Hrazdan Cascade is a complex of hydroelectric power plants on the Hrazdan River and its tributaries between the Lake Sevan and Yerevan in Armenia. Hrazdan HPP is situated 1½ km southeast of Kotayk Marzpetaran.
