Adashino Nenbutsu-ji is a Buddhist temple in Ukyo-ku, Kyoto, Japan. In 811 Kūkai is said to have founded a temple, then Honen altered it to the present Nenbutsuji. Adashino-Nenbutsudera Temple is situated 320 metres west of Gozan no Okuribi.

Danrin-ji was Japan's first Zen temple, founded in Saga, Kyōto, by order of Empress Danrin during the Jōwa era. The temple began as a nunnery with a cluster of 12 sub-temple buildings in 836. Danrinji Temple is situated 440 metres south of Gozan no Okuribi.
