Appenzell railway station is a railway station in the district of Appenzell, in the Swiss canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden. It is located at the junction of the 1,000 mm metre gauge Appenzell–St. Gallen–Trogen and Gossau–Wasserauen lines of Appenzell Railways. Appenzell railway station is situated 350 metres northeast of Kunsthalle Ziegelhütte.

Appenzell Castle is a castle in the Appenzell District of the canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden in Switzerland. It is one of a few 16th century stone buildings in Appenzell. It is part of the Swiss heritage site of national significance. Appenzell Castle is situated 500 metres north of Kunsthalle Ziegelhütte.
