Basilica of Our Lady of Mercy

The Basilica of Our Lady of Mercy is a Baroque-style basilica in Barcelona, Catalonia. Our Lady of Mercy has been the patron saint of the city of Barcelona since 1687.

La Rambla is considered the most well known street in central Barcelona. A tree-lined pedestrian street, it stretches for 1.2 kilometres connecting the Plaça de Catalunya in its center with the Christopher Columbus Monument at Port Vell. La Rambla is situated 500 metres west of Plaça de la Mercè.

Palau Güell

The Palau Güell is a mansion designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí for the industrial tycoon Eusebi Güell, and was built between 1886 and 1888. It is situated on the Carrer Nou de la Rambla, in the El Raval neighborhood of Barcelona in Catalonia, Spain. Palau Güell is situated 430 metres west of Plaça de la Mercè.
