Monastiraki
Monastiraki is an interchange station on the Athens Metro, between Lines 1 and 3. The original surface station on Line 1 opened on 17 May 1895. It became an interchange point of the network when the underground station of Line 3 opened on 22 April 2003.Photo: C messier, CC BY-SA 4.0.

Parthenon

Its decorative sculptures are considered some of the high points of classical Greek art, and the Parthenon is considered an enduring symbol of ancient Greece, Western civilisation, and democracy. Parthenon is situated 510 metres south of Monastiraki.

Hadrian's Library is the ruin of a monumental building created by Roman Emperor Hadrian in AD 132 on the north side of the Acropolis of Athens. The main entrance to the library was part of the Stoa of Hadrian with columns of Karystian marble and Pentelic capitals. Hadrian’s Library is situated 130 metres southeast of Monastiraki.
Tzistarakis Mosque

The Tzistarakis Mosque is a former mosque in Monastiraki Square, central Athens, in the Attica region of Greece. Built in 1759 during the Ottoman era, the building has since been repurposed as a traditional art museum – as an annex of the Museum of Greek Folk Art.
