Its exhibition galleries occupy the Fung Ping Shan Building as well as the first floor of the TT Tsui Building, where also the Museum Store is housed on the ground floor. Pillar of Shame is a series of sculptures by Danish artist Jens Galschiøt memorialising the loss of life during the 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre in Beijing, China committed by the Chinese Communist Party. Pillar of Shame is situated 270 metres southwest of The Stewart Building.

St. Paul's College is an Anglican day school for boys in Hong Kong. It was established in 1851, the oldest continuously operated school in Hong Kong. The college first opened in 1851 with only one tutor and nine pupils.
