Natzweiler-Struthof was a Nazi concentration camp located in the Vosges Mountains close to the villages of Natzweiler and Struthof in the Gau Baden-Alsace of Germany, on territory annexed from France on a de facto basis in 1940. Struthof Natzweiler (former Nazi concentration camp) is situated 2 km southwest of Abri du Teufelsloch.

The Alsace-Moselle Memorial is a museum dedicated to World War II in the Alsace-Moselle region, which was annexed by Germany. The Memorial, which was inaugurated on 18 June 2005, is located in Schirmeck in Alsace, near the former Natzweiler-Struthof concentration camp, opened by the Nazis in August 1940 at the beginning of the annexation. Alsace-Moselle Memorial is situated 3½ km northwest of Abri du Teufelsloch.
