Mount Kailash is a very sacred mountain in the far west of Tibet, China. It's height is 6,638 m and is near the source of the four rivers Indus, Sutlej, Brahmaputra and Karnali. It is sacred to adherents of the Hindu, Buddhist, Jain and Bon traditions. Mount Kailash is situated 3½ km west of Kuber Kund.
