Harderwykenburg

The Harderwykenburg is one of the oldest extant castles of East Frisia. It was built in the style of a medieval stone house soon after 1450 in Leer, Lower Saxony, Germany.

The Former Jewish School in Leer is a cultural and memorial site in the county seat of Leer in East Frisia. The institution, run by the district of Leer, describes itself as a "place of remembrance and commemoration, for exhibitions and cultural events on Jewish life then and now." It is housed in the school building used from 1909 to 1939 by the former Jewish community of Leer. Former Jewish School is situated 300 metres north of Harderwykenburg.
