The National Museum of Romanian Aviation is an aviation museum owned by the General Staff of the Romanian Air Force. The museum was established on 2 March 1990, being initially located on the Otopeni military base. National Museum of Romanian Aviation is situated 490 metres east of Floreasca City Center.

Aurel Vlaicu is a metro station in the north of Bucharest, named after the Romanian aeroplane constructor and pioneer aviator, Aurel Vlaicu. It lies on the western end of the Pipera industrial platform, close to an intersection of three boulevards. Aurel Vlaicu metro station is situated 380 metres west of Floreasca City Center.
