Ribat of Monastir

The Ribat of Monastir is a ribat, an Islamic defensive structure, in Monastir, Tunisia. It is the oldest ribat built by the Arab conquerors during the Muslim conquest of the Maghreb. It is also the most prominent monument of the city of Monastir. Ribat of Monastir is situated 440 metres south of Marina Monastir.

The Great Mosque of Monastir is a historical mosque located in Monastir, Tunisia. Located on the outskirts of the city overlooking the sea, near the Ribat of Monastir, the mosque is characterized by the high exterior facades built of stone, frames surrounding the windows and doors, as well as arches that extend along the mihrab. Great Mosque of Monastir is situated 490 metres south of Marina Monastir.

The Bourguiba mausoleum is a monumental grave in Monastir, Tunisia, containing the remains of former president Habib Bourguiba, the father of Tunisian independence, who died on April 6, 2000. Habib Bourguiba Memorial is situated 560 metres southwest of Marina Monastir.
