The Japanese Garden of Montevideo is located in the Prado neighbourhood of Montevideo, behind the Juan Manuel Blanes Museum. It was donated by Japan as a memorial to the 80th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between both countries, and inaugurated on 24 September 2001 by Princess Sayako. Japanese Garden is situated 420 metres northwest of Parque Posadas.

The Suárez and Reyes Presidential Residence, also known as Suárez Residence, is the official residence of the president of Uruguay. Located in the Prado neighborhood of Montevideo, it is named after the intersection of Joaquín Suárez and 19 de Abril avenues, where Reyes Street begins. Residencia de Suárez is situated 630 metres southwest of Parque Posadas.
