Hamilton Gardens is a public garden park in the south of Hamilton owned and managed by Hamilton City Council in New Zealand. The 54 ha park is based on the banks of the Waikato River and includes enclosed gardens, open lawns, a lake, a nursery, a convention centre and the Hamilton East Cemetery. Hamilton Gardens is situated 360 metres southwest of Valley Walk Carpark.

Te Ara Pekapeka Bridge is a girder bridge over the Waikato River in Hamilton, New Zealand, opened to pedestrians and cyclists on 30 August 2024 and known as Peacocke Bridge during construction. Te Ara Pekapeka Bridge is situated 700 metres east of Valley Walk Carpark.

Cobham Bridge is a 143.3 m long girder bridge in Hamilton, New Zealand, on Cobham Drive, which is part of SH1C. It spans the Waikato River. The Ministry of Works plaque at the southern end of the bridge says they designed it and it was opened on 29 June 1963. Cobham Bridge is situated 1 km west of Valley Walk Carpark.
