Empire Stadium
The Empire Stadium, also known as the Gżira Stadium or just The Stadium, was a multi-purpose stadium in Gżira, Malta. It was used mostly for football matches and hosted the home matches of the Maltese national football team, including the very first international match for Malta in 1957 against Austria.Photo: Wikimedia, Public domain.

The Orpheum Theatre is a building situated in Gżira, Malta. It was designed in 1932 by the Maltese architect Harold J. Borg, then still in his early twenties, to the design of Art Nouveau with Spanish features. Orpheum Theatre is situated 450 metres northeast of Empire Stadium.
