The Museu Nacional do Azulejo, occasionally known in English as the National Tile Museum, is an art museum in Lisbon, Portugal dedicated to the azulejo, traditional tilework of Portugal and the former Portuguese Empire, as well as of other Iberophone cultures. Alto de São João Cemetery is the largest cemetery in Lisbon, Portugal, located in the freguesia of Penha de França, in eastern Lisbon. Similar to Prazeres Cemetery, it is the resting place for many prominent figures, from literature to the arts, from science to politics, from working class to nobility, side by side with anonymous citizens who are buried and cremated there. Alto de São João Cemetery is situated 630 metres west of Mercado de Xabregas.
