Žalgirio Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena in the New Town of Kaunas, Lithuania. The arena is located on an island of the Nemunas River and is the largest indoor arena in the Baltics. Žalgiris Arena is situated 1½ km northeast of Aleksoto biblioteka.

The Lithuanian Aviation Museum is located in Kaunas, Lithuania. The museum was officially opened in 1983. The permanent collection of the museum contains more than 18 000 displays of different fields of technology. Museum of Aviation is situated 760 metres southwest of Aleksoto biblioteka.
