The Clérigos Church is a Baroque church in the city of Porto, in Portugal. Its 75-meter-tall bell tower, the Torre dos Clérigos, can be seen from various points of the city and is one of its most characteristic symbols.

The Portuguese Centre of Photography was founded in 1997. The first exhibitions began in December of the same year on the ground floor of the building until 2000. The building was temporarily closed for renovation and reopened in 2001. Portuguese Centre of Photography is situated 150 metres southwest of Clérigos Tower.
