Sorgenfri Palace is a royal residence of the Danish monarch, located in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality, on the east side of Lyngby Kongevej, in the northern suburbs of Copenhagen. Sorgenfri Palace is situated 610 metres southwest of Lyngby Stadium.

Bondebyen is a historical neighbourhood of Kongens Lyngby. It is considered the best-preserved country town of the Copenhagen area, albeit it is now in the middle of the heavily urbanized Lyngby-Taarbæk municipality. Bondebyen is situated 430 metres south of Lyngby Stadium.

Frilandsmuseet is an open-air museum on the northern outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark. The museum is located in Lyngby on Kongevejen in North Zealand. The museum can be reached directly by bus number 184 from Nørreport Station in central Copenhagen or by S-train to Sorgenfri station. Frilandsmuseet is situated 1¼ km northwest of Lyngby Stadium.

Kongens Lyngby is the seat and commercial centre of Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality in the northern suburbs of Copenhagen, Denmark. Lyngby Hovedgade is a busy shopping street and the site of a branch of Magasin du Nord as well as Lyngby Storcenter.
