It is the home of the football clubs Boldklubben af 1893 and BK Skjold and it is also the home stadium of the athletics clubs Københavns Idræts Forening and Sparta. Østerbro Stadium is situated 120 metres southwest of Øbro-Hallen.

St. James's Church in the Østerbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark, was the first church to be built in the district. It was designed by Ludvig Fenger in a Neo-Gothic style and built between 1876 and 1878. St. James’s Church is situated 110 metres south of Øbro-Hallen.
