The Historic Centre of Sighișoara is the old historic center of the town of Sighișoara, Romania, built in the 12th century by Saxon settlers. It is an inhabited medieval citadel that, in 1999, was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its 850-year-old testament to the history and culture of the Transylvanian Saxons. Sighișoara Citadel is situated 470 metres north of Sala sport.

The Church on the Hill is an architecturally significant church located in Sighişoara, Mureș County in Romania. This church is the most important monument of religious architecture in Sighisoara and is one of the great churches of Transylvania, being the third largest. The Hill Church is situated 230 metres north of Sala sport.

Rope Makers‘ Tower

The Ropemakers' Tower, one of the nine towers located inside the Citadel of Sighişoara, Mureș County in Romania, has currently been turned into a guard house for the cemetery of the church. Rope Makers‘ Tower is situated 260 metres northwest of Sala sport.

Sighișoara is a city on the Tarnava River in Mures county, in the historic region of Transylvania. German craftsmen and merchants, the Transylvanian Saxons, were invited here by the King of Hungary during the 12th century to settle and defend the frontier.
