Sighișoara Citadel

The Historic Centre of Sighișoara is the old historic center of the town of Sighișoara, Romania, built in the 12th century by Saxon settlers. It is an inhabited medieval citadel that, in 1999, was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its 850-year-old testament to the history and culture of the Transylvanian Saxons. Sighișoara Citadel is situated 420 metres southeast of Piața Sighișoara.

Boot Makers‘ Tower

The Bootmakers' Tower is located in the north-east of the Citadel in Sighişoara, Mureș County in Romania. The building has baroque architectural influences. Boot Makers‘ Tower is situated 280 metres southeast of Piața Sighișoara.

Tailors‘ Tower

Sighișoara is a city on the Tarnava River in Mures county, in the historic region of Transylvania. German craftsmen and merchants, the Transylvanian Saxons, were invited here by the King of Hungary during the 12th century to settle and defend the frontier.
