Áras an Uachtaráin, formerly the Viceregal Lodge, is the official residence and principal workplace of the President of Ireland. The estate is located off Chesterfield Avenue in the in , with the building's design being credited to amateur architect Nathaniel Clements but more likely guided by professionals and completed around 1751 to 1757.
