Bagsværd is a middle-class suburb located approximately 12 km northwest of central Copenhagen, in the Gladsaxe Municipality. Bagsværd houses the headquarters of Danish pharmaceutical company Novo and biotechnology company Novonesis, as well as the Baltic and International Maritime Council.
