The Shaki Museum of History and Local Lore is a museum located in Sheki city of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The museum is named after the Azerbaijani pedagogue, writer and ethnographer Rashid Bey Efendiyev. Shaki Museum of History and Local Lore is situated 170 metres southwest of Shaki Khan Palace.

Mirza Fatali Akhundov, also known as Mirza Fatali Akhundzade, or Mirza Fath-Ali Akhundzadeh, was a celebrated Iranian Azerbaijani author, playwright, atheist, philosopher, and literary critic who lived most of his life in the Russian Empire. Mirza Fatali Akhundov’s House Museum is situated 270 metres southeast of Shaki Khan Palace.
