Annawan is an incorporated town in Henry and Bureau counties, Illinois, United States. The population was 1,143 at the 2020 census. The town was named for Annawan, a Massachusetts Wampanoag chief, though it has been claimed that it took its name from a local Winnebago chief of the same name. Annawan is situated 1½ miles west of Patriot Renewable Fuels.
