Klausen Pass

Klausen Pass is a high mountain pass in the Swiss Alps connecting Altdorf in the canton of Uri with Linthal in the canton of Glarus. Somewhat unusually, the boundary between the two cantons does not lie at the summit of the pass, but some 8 kilometres down the slope towards Linthal, with the summit being in Uri. Klausen Pass is situated 3 km southwest of Firnen.

The Glatten is a mountain of the Schwyzer Alps, overlooking the Klausen Pass in the canton of Uri. It is the tripoint between the valleys Bisistal, Schächental and Urner Boden. The summit consists of a large karstic plateau.
Glattalpsee

Glattalpsee is a reservoir on the Glattalp plateau, above Bisisthal, in the municipality of Muotathal, Canton of Schwyz, Switzerland. The lake's water is used by the Sahli powerplant in Bisisthal to produce electricity. Glattalpsee is situated 3½ km northeast of Firnen.
