Postojna Cave

Postojna Cave is a 24.34 km long karst cave system near Postojna, southwestern Slovenia. It is the second-longest cave system in the country as well as one of its top tourism sites. The caves were created by the Pivka River. Postojna Cave is situated 1½ km west of Ravbarkomanda.

The Postojna Gate, less often the Postojna Gap, named after the local town of Postojna, is a major mountain pass of the Dinaric Alps. It lies in southwestern Slovenia, between the Hrušica Plateau to the north and the Javornik Hills to the south, at an elevation of 610 metres.
