The History Museum of Armenia is a museum in Armenia with departments of Archaeology, Numismatics, Ethnography, Modern History and Restoration. It has a national collection of 400,000 objects and was founded in 1920. History Museum of Armenia is situated 150 metres northeast of Հանրապետւթյան Հրապարակ.

Near East Art Museum is a museum of art located in Yerevan, Armenia. The museum was opened in 1993 and is based on a collection donated by Marcos Grigorian, painter, collector and honorary citizen of Yerevan in memory of his daughter, actress Sabrina Grigorian. Near East Museum is situated 220 metres northeast of Հանրապետւթյան Հրապարակ.

Kond is one of the oldest quarters of Yerevan. It is situated within the boundaries of the modern-day Kentron District of the capital of Armenia.
