The Holy Church of Evangelistria is located in the homonymous district of Piraeus. The church of Evangelistria began to be built in 1893 according to the plans of the municipal architect Georgios Zizilas.

The Piraeus Municipal Theatre is a neoclassical building built on plans by the architect Ioannis Lazarimos and was opened on 9 April 1895. The theatre has a 600-seat capacity and is located in the centremost place of Piraeus. Municipal Theater of Piraeus is situated 620 metres west of Πλατεία Γηροκομείου.
