Fort Tas-Silġ

Fort Tas-Silġ is a polygonal fort in Marsaxlokk, Malta. It was built between 1879 and 1883 by the British on high ground at the shoreward end of Delimara Point, above il-Ħofra-ż-Żgħira. Fort Tas-Silġ is situated 450 metres southwest of Saint Paul’s Battery.

Tas-Silġ is a rounded hilltop on the southeast coast of the island of Malta overlooking Marsaxlokk Bay and close to the town of Żejtun. Tas-Silġ is a major multi-period sanctuary site with archaeological remains covering 4000 years, from the Neolithic to the ninth century. Tas-Silġ is situated 800 metres west of Saint Paul’s Battery.

Xrobb l-Għaġin Temple is a ruined megalithic temple in Xrobb l-Għaġin, limits of Marsaxlokk, Malta. After being identified in 1913, the site was excavated between 1914 and 1915. Xrobb l-Għaġin Temple is situated 760 metres east of Saint Paul’s Battery.
