Plaza del Sol is one of the largest shopping malls in the Guadalajara metropolitan area, Mexico, located in the municipality of Zapopan. Built at the end of the sixties by the architect Alejandro Zohn, it was the first mall in Latin America. Plaza del Sol is situated 100 metres south of Zona Z.

The Matute Remus Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge located in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. This work is part of a system of bridges that are located on the Lázaro Cárdenas road, at the junction with López Mateos avenue, one of the busiest in the city and that also crosses the 4 central municipalities of the Guadalajara metropolitan area. Matute Remus Bridge is situated 2 km northeast of Zona Z.
