The Pierce House is a rare 17th-century house at 24 Oakton Avenue in the Dorchester neighborhood in Boston, Massachusetts. Built c. 1683, It documents period building practices, and the tastes and housing needs of one family, the Pierces, over more than three centuries. Pierce House is situated 2,400 feet west of Dorchester Shores Reservation.

Squantum Point Park is a state-owned, public recreation area located on the Squantum peninsula of Quincy, Massachusetts, United States. The park was created on the site of the former Harvard Aviation Field and Squantum Naval Air Station, which is preserved in a 2,700-foot-long strip of runway, and the former dockworks of the Bethlehem Shipbuilding Corporation. Squantum Point Park is situated 1 mile northeast of Dorchester Shores Reservation.

Neponset is a district in the southeastern corner of Dorchester, Boston, Massachusetts, United States. The Neponset Indians were the original inhabitants of this district and in 1646 John Eliot preached unsuccessfully to the Native American community in Lower Mills led by Sachem Cutshamekin before the tribe moved to Ponkapoag.
