Officially called Signal Iduna Park for sponsorship reasons and BVB Stadion Dortmund in UEFA competitions, the name derives from the former Prussian province of Westphalia. Westfalenstadion is situated 460 metres west of Parkplatz-C1 (Westfalenhallen).
